Objectives of the Course

The objective of this course is to give information about biotechnology.

Course Content

Structure of genetic materials. Bacterial DNA types, denaturation and renaturation. Perpendicullar DNA formation. DNA size, phages of DNA, types of RNA. Functions of DNA. Replication of DNA (synthesis of m-RNA). Transcription, reverse transcription. Repairment mechanism of DNA. Recombinations of DNA: Excreptions of gene in bacteria (transcriptions and translation). Transferring genes from/to bacteria (transformation, conjugation and transduction).
