Objectives of the Course

The objective of this course is to give information about porcine ımmunology.

Course Content

The roots, differentiation, structure and immunological functions of the cell populations in the porcine immune system, structures, localisations and functions of primary and secondary lymphoid organs found in pigs, major histocompatibility complex system, humoral and cellular immune response, and immunity mechanisms against bacterial, viral, fungal, parasitic and tumoral diseases in pigs.
