Objectives of the Course

To know systematics, morphology and biology of important acari of domestic animals, diagnostic criteria,treatment and control measures.

Course Content

Known species of ticks of domestic animals, their biology and medical importance, their distribution, disease agents they carry, diagnosis of tick species, control measures taken against ticks, morphology, biology and infection routes of dermanysus, varroa and various mite species, clinical symptoms they cause in their hosts, differential diagnosis, treatment and prevention in infestations caused by acari, endoparasitic acari of animals.
