Objectives of the Course

The aims of this course are to inform science teachers about the general principles of instructional design, and to make them use these principles in their own lessons. Additionally, it is aimed to familiarize science teachers with educational philosophies and trends upon which instructional design is based.

Course Content

Definition of instructional design, various instructional design models, educational philosophies, task analysis, learner analysis, task analysis, instructional strategies, production of instruction, strategies for developing attitude and motivation, metacognition.
