In this course, it is aimed that the student understands the concepts of existential therapy on the basis of existential philosophy and can learn in accordance with the principles of psychiatric nursing.

Philosophy of existence is a philosophy that expresses the meaning of human existence and all of the possibilities of human self-realization, focuses on human, and turns towards human. Existential psychotherapies are one of the best ways to link psychiatry and philosophy. Considering that psychiatric nursing practices cover individuals, families and society, it is expected to gain a different perspective.
