The purpose of this course is to improve skills and knowledge of students on health policies and critical approach related to these policies in the World and in our country; Health Policies and Historical background of nursing; Current Laws related to nursing; government policies, political defensiveness of nursing; Political development examples of nursing in Turkey and in the World; and finally basic philosophy, analyse and strategies of health policies.

This course, health-related laws and policies, and regulatory policies that affect nursing and nurses in health policy making, regulation and monitoring roles and responsibilities in the process provides.
