Objectives of the Course

Guiding the bachelors of doctor of sociology to gain insight into developing further knowledge of the subject concerned, approaching from an interdisciplinary perspective the concept of crime that has been observed to develop into a severe social problem during the historical process and considered a universal phenomenon, and performing further criminological analyses.

Course Content

The course widely considers the different aspects and kinds of criminal events from the scientific, theoretical, and precedential standpoints.

(Discussion : What are the reasons for lower rates of crime in any given country?) Comparing the crime rates across the countries with lower and higher rates, and the reasons of the differences in crime rates
