Objectives of the Course

The aim of the course is to explain the phonetically features, phonetically changing of Old Anatolian Turkish, and to research the morphological, syntactical, and the vocabulary on the texts.

The historical development of Old Anatolian Turkic and the comprehension of Old Anatolian Turkic's phonetics, structural knowledge, syntax

Learning Outcomes
1.Students learn the grammar features of Old Anatolian Turkish and make firm this features on texts which they analyse.
2.Students compare phonetic and morphologic features of Old Anatolian Turkish with the another historical periods of Turkish.
3.Students make Old Anatolian Turkish’s text’s transcription and they make grammar analyses on this texts.
4.To enable correct reading and comprehending of texts of the Old Anatolian Turkish and translating them into modern Turkish.
5.To enable distinguishing historical periods of Turkey Turkish.
