To present the place and characters in common Turkic of first written period of Western Turkish by using texts

Course Content

The place of Western Turkish in Turkish language history. Works with complicated language. General language characters of Western Turkish. Works written in Anatolian Selchuks period and artists

1.To introduce texts of the Old Anatolian Turkish to the students.
2.To teach phonetic, morphological and lexical features of the Old Anatolian Turkish.
3.To enable correct reading and comprehending of texts of the Old Anatolian Turkish and translating them into modern Turkish.
4.To teach phonetic and morphological development of Turkey Turkish.
5.To enable distinguishing historical periods of Turkey Turkish.
