Objectives of the Course

The aim of this course is to provide students with an insight into qualitative research in sports sciences, to make a research plan using qualitative research method, to teach how to collect and analyze qualitative data within the scope of the plan. At the end of the course, students are expected to understand the importance and place of qualitative research in different fields of sports sciences and to evaluate qualitative research with a critical point of view. The course is open to all graduate students in the sports science and technology program, qualitative research examples specific to each field will be discussed and qualitative research design specific to each field will be made.

4.Will be able to design qualitative research method appropriate to the research problem determined in the field of Sport Sciences.
5. Students will be able to critically evaluate qualitative research articles in the field of Sport Sciences.
