Objectives of the Course

The aim of this course is to train experts who can deeply analyze advanced theoretical and applied information in the field of sports psychology, evaluate and improve the psychological performance of athletes. The course addresses themes such as psychological skill development, mental training techniques, team dynamics and athlete-psychologist interaction from a psychosocial perspective.

Course Content

Basic concepts of sports psychology, personality and motivation theories, attention-focus strategies, stress and anxiety management, leadership, communication and team dynamics, psychological skills training, competition psychology, burnout, aggression, addiction, overtraining and psychosocial effects of sports injuries.
