The aim of this course is to address ethical issues that arise in sports environments in a multidimensional manner; to analyze ethical decision-making processes, ethical dilemmas faced by sports managers and coaches, and to provide theoretical and practical competence to evaluate the applicability of ethical codes. In addition, individuals are encouraged to recognize their own value systems and act within the framework of ethical principles.
Concepts of ethics and morality, types of ethics, ethical principles and dilemmas in sports, ethical codes, organizational ethics, ethical decision-making processes, evaluation of unethical behaviors such as fair play, doping and discrimination, ethical problems in athlete-coach-referee relationships, case studies and solution strategies.
