This course aims to provide students with knowledge about the development of industrial revolutions, the concept of Industry 4.0, and the fundamental components of smart manufacturing systems. It also aims to equip students with a basic understanding of digital transformation, the Internet of Things (IoT), big data, artificial intelligence, automation systems, and cyber-physical systems, and to enable them to grasp the role of electronic technologies in Industry 4.0 applications.
Industrial revolutions and the concept of Industry 4.0, digital transformation, smart factories, cyber-physical systems, the Internet of Things (IoT), big data, artificial intelligence, cloud computing, robotics systems, automation technologies, smart sensors, industrial communication technologies, examples of Industry 4.0 applications, and future manufacturing technologies.
