The Artificial Intelligence Operator Program is an associate-degree-level educational program designed to meet the growing demand for skilled technical personnel to support the rapidly proliferating AI-based solutions of today. The program's primary objective is to train qualified individuals capable of setting up, operating, and maintaining artificial intelligence systems, while also bridging the gap between theoretical knowledge and practical application.
Throughout the training process, students acquire a wide range of knowledge and skills—spanning from AI fundamentals and machine learning to data science, natural language processing, computer vision, and deep learning. A significant portion of the coursework is conducted in laboratory settings using real-world datasets and AI applications. This allows students to gain hands-on experience in data preparation, model development, training, and evaluation.
A key feature of the program is the "3+1 Education Model," which enables students to gain professional experience by working full-time at companies for one full semester. This provides them with the opportunity to apply their theoretical knowledge to real-world projects and prepare for the workforce through direct industry engagement.
Graduates can pursue roles such as AI operator, data operations specialist, machine learning operations assistant, or application support specialist. Additionally, they can contribute to technical processes—such as data preparation, model monitoring, and system operations—within R&D and software teams.
For individuals with an aptitude for analytical thinking, a passion for problem-solving, and an interest in technology, this program offers a strong career opportunity in the artificial intelligence sector—one of the most important fields of the future. History
The Artificial Intelligence Operations Program was established within the Aydın Vocational School to meet the need for qualified technical personnel for the rapidly growing number of AI-based solutions in the technology sector. The program commenced its educational activities by admitting its first cohort of students in the 2025-2026 academic year.
Mission
The mission of the Artificial Intelligence Operator Program is to train qualified technical personnel—equipped with fundamental knowledge and skills in artificial intelligence and data science, capable of applying innovative technologies and thinking analytically—to meet the needs of the business world. We aim to provide an education that blends theoretical knowledge with practical application and is supported by laboratory and workplace experiences, thereby enabling our students to become productive individuals who adapt to industry dynamics and adhere to ethical values.
Vision
Our vision is to become a program of choice within the industry—distinguished both in Turkey and globally in the field of artificial intelligence—through an application-based associate degree education. We aim to cultivate innovative, solution-oriented professionals capable of playing an active role in the development, operation, and sustainability of artificial intelligence systems by preparing our students for the technologies of the future, not just those of today.
Purpose
As AI-based solutions become increasingly widespread, there is a growing need in the sector for skilled personnel capable of setting up, operating, and maintaining these systems. The Artificial Intelligence Operator Program offers applied training at the associate degree level, designed to meet this need.
Physical Infrastructure
The Artificial Intelligence Operator Program is conducted within the Aydın Vocational School, located at the Adnan Menderes University Central Campus. Students pursue their education in a modern university environment, taking advantage of the extensive facilities offered by the campus.
Technical Infrastructure
The Artificial Intelligence Operator Program is supported by two laboratories where students receive hands-on training. Equipped with essential software tools and computer hardware, these laboratories provide students with the opportunity to apply the knowledge gained in their courses.
The laboratories are utilized primarily for artificial intelligence applications, data analysis, and group projects, helping students gain experience relevant to their future careers.
