Objectives of the Course

The goal of this course is to equip students with an understanding of AI-enabled tools used in education, their ability to use these tools effectively, and their ability to develop solutions that contribute to the educational process in their respective professional fields. By learning about current AI-based educational practices, students will gain a hands-on understanding of how to utilize these technologies in the creation, delivery, and evaluation of educational content.

Course Content

The course begins with an introduction to the applications of AI in education, covering intelligent tutoring systems, personalized learning, data analytics in education, and AI-based assessment and evaluation systems. It also examines practical applications such as AI-enabled content creation tools (e.g., creating videos and materials with AI), virtual assistants, and the use of chatbots in education. At the end of the course, students will put their theoretical knowledge into practice by designing an AI-enabled application suitable for an educational scenario.
