Objectives of the Course

To introduce the current status, historical background, basic terminology and important technologies in the field of cyber security. To explain the legal, ethical, political and economic effects of cyber warfare and information warfare.

Course Content

Basic concepts related to cyberspace and cybersecurity. Cybercrime, information technology law, computer law and cyber law. Criminal investigation and Computer. Information security and control. Computer and network security. Cyber ??warfare. International standards in cybersecurity.

1.Have awareness about ethical boundaries and demonstrate behaviour in accordance with laws and regulations in internet usage, digital interactions, and cybersecurity applications
2.Explain fundamental concepts in the field of cybersecurity, such as information security, cyber attacks, security policies, firewalls, malicious software, and authentication; Establish relationships between these concepts and relevant key terms.
3.Recognize and analyse different types of cyber threats. Comprehend attack methods and common techniques that cyber attackers can use. Gain a basic understanding to develop defense strategies
4.Can analyze possible attacks on Information Systems.
5.Awareness is created about Cyber ??Security.
