To give students integrated systems-engineering experience by combining robotic subsystems into a single working autonomous platform.

The course treats the end-to-end design and implementation of robotic systems in a project-based manner. Sensing, kinematics and dynamics, state estimation, computer vision, control, motion planning and embedded system development are addressed in an integrated way; students build a working autonomous system on a real robot platform.
