Objectives of the Course

To learn the principles of technical drawing and design and develop skills in this area. To learn standard drawing techniques, symbols, and dimensioning methods used in engineering projects. Furthermore, to develop the ability to accurately read and interpret technical drawings and to communicate effectively in the engineering and design processes.

Course Content

To gain the ability to create accurate and detailed technical drawings that comply with technical drawing standards. Furthermore, to develop the ability to read and interpret technical drawings accurately and to communicate effectively in the engineering and design processes.

Learning Outcomes
1.Explains the basic concepts of technical drawing, drawing standards and drawing tools.
2.Applies geometric forms and standard fonts in accordance with technical drawing rules.
3.Using projection rules, it extracts the views of technical parts from different angles.
4.Explains sectioning techniques and draws cross-sectional views of system parts.
5.It applies the dimensioning and tolerance rules of the drawn parts according to international standards.
6.Reads and interprets the technical assembly drawings of renewable energy system components.
7.Draw simple layout and installation diagrams of solar, wind or other renewable energy facilities. Reads and interprets the technical assembly drawings of renewable energy system components.
8.Makes documentation in accordance with quality standards and occupational health and safety rules in drawing and projecting processes.
