Alternative Energy Resources Technology program students to make practical applications in the laboratory environment.
In the Renewable Energy Systems Laboratory, studies are being carried out for biofuels, wind and solar energy, which are widely applied in this field. The laboratory provides the opportunity to apply the theoretical knowledge transferred within the scope of associate degree courses and to make experimental observations to the students.
| 1. | Analyzes the operating characteristics of photovoltaic, wind, and biomass equipment used in renewable energy systems in the field. |
| 2. | Executes electrical and mechanical assembly operations of solar and wind energy facilities in accordance with installation plans. |
| 3. | Performs appropriate connections of inverters, charge controllers, and battery banks during the system integration phase. |
| 4. | Measures system performance and conducts efficiency analysis using data collection tools in renewable energy power plants. |
| 5. | Identifies electrical, mechanical, or software faults encountered during field operations and determines appropriate intervention methods. |
| 6. | Applies periodic maintenance procedures of energy facilities according to quality standards and manufacturer instructions. |
| 7. | Manages environmental risks by fully complying with occupational health and safety legislation during installation and maintenance work. |
