Objectives of the Course

To introduce the concept of agricultural mechanization and its applications in agriculture.

Course Content

Introduction to the components of agricultural implements and machinery, their operating principles, safety regulations, energy conservation in agriculture, and the structure and functions of agricultural machinery.

1.Develops an understanding of the fundamental concepts of agricultural mechanization and recognizes their significance in agricultural production.
2.Identifies agricultural implements and machinery and explains their functions and operating purposes.
3.Explains the relationship between technological applications in agriculture and improvements in labor efficiency and product productivity.
4.Develops solution proposals for problems encountered within existing agricultural production chains.
5.Recognizes the agricultural structure of Türkiye and predicts major future developments related to agricultural mechanization.
