Objectives of the Course

To provide students with the competence to apply the mathematical knowledge and skills required for their profession to their work.

Course Content

Numbers, types of numbers, equations, inequalities, absolute value, exponential and radical numbers, ratio-proportion, and word problems involving setting up equations.

Learning Outcomes
1.Explains fundamental mathematical concepts related to numbers, number systems, rational numbers, exponential, and radical numbers, and correctly applies operations related to these topics.
2.Analyzes mathematical problems and develops appropriate solution methods using consecutive numbers, GCD-LCM, factorization, and sets.
3.Solves first- and second-order equations and inequalities, and mathematically interprets the results obtained.
4.Explains the concept of functions, types of functions, and their basic properties; solves problems related to functions and interprets their graphs.
5.Develops mathematical solutions to fundamental problems encountered in engineering and technical fields by utilizing mathematical thinking, analytical reasoning, and problem-solving skills.
