Objectives of the Course

The objective of the course is to transfer the fundamental knowledge of heat and mass transfer, which is required in agricultural power sources and mechanization applications where heat transfer is involved, to the student.

Course Content

In summary, the definition of heat, heat and temperature, the mechanical equivalent of heat, the work-heat relationship, specific heat, sensible heat, heat sources, heat transfer, heat conduction, conduction theory and equations, heat convection, natural and forced convection, thermal radiation and radiation laws, and mass transfer topics are explained theoretically, and application examples for mechanization are carried out.
