The main objective of the Diction and Public Speaking Techniques course is to enable individuals to acquire the skill of speaking correctly, effectively, and beautifully, in accordance with the rules of the language; and at the same time, to develop a persuasive and charismatic public speaking ability that allows them to manage their nervousness when speaking in front of an audience. This course aims to equip students with the ability to express themselves effectively in both their professional and social lives, fostering a strong corporate and individual image.
The Diction and Public Speaking Techniques course consists of two main focuses that enable individuals to speak effectively, accurately, and persuasively in both daily life and professional settings: Diction: This includes proper diaphragmatic breathing, effective use of voice tone, and fluent, emphatic, and intonified speech using pronunciation according to the rules of Istanbul Turkish. Public Speaking: This covers managing stage fright and anxiety experienced when speaking in front of an audience, using body language in harmony with words, the art of persuasion (rhetoric), and improvisational/prepared speaking techniques. In short, the course equips participants with the competence to become confident, understandable, and captivating speakers in front of an audience by correctly managing their voice, body, and words.

| 2. | They articulate letters and words clearly according to phonetic rules; they speak fluently by eliminating regional dialects, omitted sounds, and parasitic sounds (ee, aa, yani, etc.) in their speech. |
| 3. | Based on target audience analysis, it prepares an effective speech text for a specific purpose, with logical coherence through introduction, body, and a strong conclusion. |
| 4. | When speaking in front of an audience, they keep their excitement and stress under control; they use their posture, hand and arm gestures, facial expressions, and eye contact in harmony with their words to enhance the impact of their speech. |
| 5. | The speaker strategically employs public speaking techniques such as storytelling, emphasis, pauses, and question-and-answer sessions to capture, maintain, and persuade the audience. |
| 6. | When speaking on online meeting platforms like Zoom, they demonstrate high-energy and persuasive speaking skills in digital environments by applying techniques such as camera angle, eye contact, tone of voice management during screen sharing, and microphone usage. |
| 7. | During meetings, they utilize various public speaking/meeting management techniques such as opening remarks, assigning speaking rights, time management, and closing remarks, employing proper diction and a professional style. |
