The main objective of the course is to ensure that students develop into responsible, aware, and active citizens who are not only active in their professional fields but also responsible towards the society and the world in which they live. The aim is to instill in students the awareness that "I am a part of this society and I have the power to create change," thus transforming them into individuals who contribute to social peace and prosperity.
Learning basic information about volunteering, civil society, social issues, and ethical values Identifying a concrete problem on-site, such as in areas like the environment, education, or disadvantaged groups Designing and implementing a social responsibility project in the field as a team to provide a solution to the identified problem Analysis and presentation of project results and societal impacts
| 1. | It identifies social problems at local and global levels (poverty, migration, environment, inequality of opportunity in education, etc.) from sociological and ethical perspectives and analyzes the root causes of these problems |
| 2. | In its interactions with disadvantaged groups, field observations, and social work, it adheres to fundamental ethical principles such as non-maleficence, respect for human dignity, a rights-based approach, and informed consent |
