Objectives of the Course

In this course, it is aimed to teach the fundamentals of voltage and current, to apply the principles related to safety, to set up circuits by selecting circuit components that will provide the desired electrical values, and to gain the knowledge and skills of calculating the electrical magnitudes in the current circuit.

Course Content

Physical and electrical definitions of current, voltage, work, power, energy and efficiency, basic circuit analysis techniques, methods and theories, current and voltage source conversions, as well as physical and electrical properties of capacitance and inductance and their transient response are covered.

Structure of the atom, static electricity, electric charge, current, voltage, conductivity

Physical and electrical definition of resistance, Ohm's law, electrical projection of work, power, energy and efficiency.
