Objectives of the Course

The student will be able to determine the mechanical properties of the ground by conducting experiments in accordance with its standard.

Course Content

Index properties, classification of soils, soil water, shear strength, stress distribution of soils, seats, bearing capacity, lateral soil pressures, retaining walls
