Objectives of the Course

With this course, students will be able to determine the engineering properties of soils using soil mechanics laboratory tools and equipment.

Course Content

They will be able to take soil samples using standardized methods and conduct the necessary tests to determine the physical properties of the soil sample. They will be able to determine consistency limits based on the soil-water relationship. They will be able to compile a report of the test results.

Learning Outcomes
1.Will be able to take samples from the ground using methods that comply with the standards.

5.Can perform Soil Index and classification tests.
