Education System
The courses are given in semesters and the given education is evaluated with midterm, final and make-up exams. In order to graduate from the program, the student has to complete all the courses in the program, to provide a minimum of 120 ECTS credits and to do an internship of 30 working days.
Terms of Exchange and Transition Programs
Graduates who want to continue their education can pass directly and without examination to the third year of the Open Education Faculty Business Administration Department. In addition, depending on the points and quota status in the Vertical Transfer Exam conducted by the Student Selection and Placement Center, various universities also have the possibility to transfer to four-year undergraduate programs.
Qualification Awarded
Students who complete the program successfully by completing all the requirements are awarded Associate Degree in the field of "Accounting and Tax Applications".

Students who have graduated from the Accounting and Taxation program can work in the accounting departments of foreign trade and finance institutions and accounting services of commercial enterprises in the branches of accounting and financial consultancy. They can also work in any department of financial institutions. In the public sector and private sector businesses, the professional staff who can carry out the service, production and activities in an efficient manner and who have the accounting legislation and can carry out the computerized accounting as well as the theoretical information can easily find jobs in public sector and private sector. They can work in the accounting departments, the accounting departments of the enterprises, the various units of the Ministry of Finance and especially in the tax offices. Accounting and taxation professionals have working facilities in tax offices, accounting offices, accounting services in businesses, and business establishments that have accounting programs.
