To be able to train medical laboratory technicians to work in own profession in the organizations which are providing services related to environment such as Governmental and Private Medical Institutions, Municipalities, Laboratories on the Analysis of the Different Ministries, Treatment Plants.

In 2006 - 2007 academic year, the students were included first time as environment program. The program name was changed to Environmental Health in according to the letter (it’s date: 27. 04. 2009 and number: 1916 - 012232)of The Council of Higher Education. Environmental Health Program currently provides training.

To train intermediate staff who act in accordance with scientific principles for the protection of environmental health, can think analytically, are sensitive to nature and people, have sustainable environmental awareness, have ethical values, are prone to teamwork and are competent in their profession.

To be a pioneering program that trains environmental health technicians who will take on competent duties in institutions and organizations that carry out activities such as research, development, protection, precaution taking and monitoring in the field of environmental health.

To be able to train the technicians for the agencies and organizations such as public and private hospitals, clinics, laboratories providing services in the health and the environment areas.

Our Vocational School temporarily operates on the ground floor of the Institutes Building. The Faculty of Science has temporarily allocated 2 laboratories to us. Our courses are held in the Aydin Menderes Classrooms and the Morphology Building of the Faculty of Medicine.

Within Aydın Vocational School of Health Services, there are 34 desktop computers, 2 laptop computers, 17 printers, 2 projectors, 1 barcode reader, 1 photocopy machine, 1 scanner, 25 microscopes.
