Objectives of the Course

In this course, it was aimed that to give the ability to manage to the students in the light of the scientific method’s steps. These processes to notice a unique problem related to Environmental Health, regardless of the detection process in the relevant field of research, design, implementation and conclusion.

The institutions and organizations serves at environmental health area, and its working principles. The works that made for environmental health from past to today.

Learning Outcomes
1.Aware of the environmental issues, and tries to establish a relationship between cause and effect.
2.Having information about the works of different institutions and organizations which are providing service in environmental health studies.
3.They will have the competence and the necessary method’s skills in order to access to the latest information and research to be able to grasp in the environmental health area.
4. To have knowledge about water and filtration, food control and sanitation
5.To have knowledge about public health laboratory and its applications

Week 1 - Practice
The duties and responsibilities of the health services branch office in the municipal.
Week 2 - Practice
Duties, powers and operation issues of the environmental health services chief that serves to depending on Health Services branch manager.
Week 3 - Practice
Duties, powers and operation issues of the food conrol and public health services chief that serves to depending on Health Services branch manager.
Week 4 - Practice
Central organization and tasks of Food, Agriculture and Livestock Ministry. It’s service units.
Week 5 - Practice
The duties of the provincial organization and their working procedures and principles.
Week 6 - Practice
Crop production, animal husbandry, fisheries and aquaculture general managers, and their duties.
Week 7 - Practice
KARACASU - Artemis trip in order to observation of the made structures and implementations for environmental health in the ancient period.
Week 8 - Practice
Daily works are carried out at the application areas.
Week 9 - Practice
Agrarian reform and agricultural research and policies general managers, and their duties.
Week 10 - Practice
Food and control general management and it’s duties.
Week 11 - Practice
The trip for monitoring the City drinking water HEPP facilities’ network and its’ process.

Evaluation of the areas which were gone to application.

Information related to entry to system of the data which obtained from working areas.
