Objectives of the Course

To provide knowledge and expertise in health law.

Course Content

Basic legal concepts, fundamental concepts of health law, its general framework, and commonly encountered areas of study in health law. Health law within the framework of national and international legislation, informed consent in medical interventions and medical malpractice, and certain crimes that may find application for dentists and healthcare professionals.

1.To improve basic legal literacy,
2.To learn the fundamental concepts and institutions of health law, as well as its development and sources.
3.To learn about the rights and responsibilities of both patients and physicians.
4.To examine health law in all its aspects within the framework of relevant legislation.
5.To recognize the preliminary and main agreements to be applied for medical interventions.
6.Examining the legal responsibilities of healthcare professionals and healthcare institutions arising from medical interventions, from the perspective of health law.
7.To gain prior knowledge about legal problems that may be encountered in the profession.
8.To understand the mechanisms of health law by examining the decisions of local courts, district courts, and higher courts.
9.Gaining practice through fictional examples.
