It also aims to raise awareness about climate change, global warming, greenhouse gases, environmental policies, and sustainable environmental management; and to provide information about protective and preventive approaches to protecting environmental health.

Course Content

This course covers the concept of environmental health, environmental risks, and the causes of environmental problems. Topics such as air, water, soil, noise, radiation, and electromagnetic pollution, as well as waste management, are examined, and their effects on human health are evaluated. Furthermore, climate change, global warming, greenhouse gases, carbon footprint, the environmental and health impacts of climate change, international climate policies, and sustainable environmental management are discussed. The aim of the course is to provide students with fundamental knowledge about environmental protection, biodiversity, ecosystem health, and the importance of environmental health services.
