Objectives of the Course

Gaining knowledge and skills on the subjects that form the basis of parasitology, host-parasite relations, the ways of entry of parasites into the organism, the disease they cause, their damages and protection. To know about zoonotic parasites

Course Content

Nomenclature of parasites and parasitic diseases, parasite-host interactions. Classification, biology, diseases, diagnosis, treatment, prevention methods and epidemiology of Protosa, Trematoda, Cestoda and Nematoda group parasites that cause disease in humans. Structural features of viruses, methods used in the diagnosis of these infections
