Objectives of the Course

It is aimed for students to understand all definitions of viruses, their structural features, types of infection and subsequent immunological events, and the techniques used to detect viral etiology in clinical cases.

Course Content

In this course, the identification of the virus, which is an infectious agent in a broad sense, the determination of its structural and infectivity properties, the development patterns of viral infections in the organism, and the techniques used in the diagnosis of viral etiology in infections are explained.
