Objectives of the Course

The aim of this course is to help students adopt the principles of a healthy lifestyle, teach them the physical and mental health benefits of exercise, and enable them to develop the skills to plan exercise programs aimed at improving individual health

Course Content

Topics covered include the definition of health and components of a healthy lifestyle, benefits of physical activity, types of exercise, exercise planning, the effects of exercise on the cardiovascular system, musculoskeletal system, and psychological health, physical fitness, lifelong mobility, stress management, and establishing exercise as a habit.
