| 2. | Evaluates the patient before anesthesia, performs the required preparations and safely assists the anesthesiologist. |
| 3. | Participates in general, regional and non-operating room anesthesia and sedation practices as a member of the healthcare team. |
| 4. | Operates, checks and performs routine maintenance of anesthesia machines, monitors and related equipment. |
| 5. | Prepares anesthetic agents, intravenous fluids and blood products and contributes to their safe administration in accordance with patient safety principles. |
| 6. | Monitors vital signs, records patient data and reports possible complications to the healthcare team. |
| 7. | Participates in resuscitation, basic and advanced life support practices and performs cardiopulmonary resuscitation when required. |
