| 5. | Prepares anesthetic agents, intravenous fluids and blood products and contributes to their safe administration in accordance with patient safety principles. |
| 6. | Monitors vital signs, records patient data and reports possible complications to the healthcare team. |
| 7. | Participates in resuscitation, basic and advanced life support practices and performs cardiopulmonary resuscitation when required. |
| 8. | Contributes to the care, monitoring and treatment of intensive care patients as a member of the healthcare team. |
| 9. | Applies infection control, sterilization, aseptic and antiseptic principles in professional practice. |
| 10. | Works in accordance with occupational health and safety, environmental protection, patient safety and continuous quality improvement principles. |
| 11. | Communicates effectively, ethically and professionally with patients, relatives and healthcare professionals. |
| 12. | Acts in accordance with ethical principles, patient rights, legal regulations and professional responsibilities. |
| 13. | Uses medical terminology accurately and effectively utilizes information and communication technologies in professional practice. |
