The aim of this course is to provide information on controlling epidemic diseases, increasing microbiological safety in animal product production, and protecting environmental health.
The course covers the definition and importance of biosecurity, sources of infection, contamination routes, porters and their types, and epizootiology. Critical control points and biological control methods are examined, while the importance of natural resources, food and soil pollution, additives, and environmental pollution are discussed. Throughout the course, environmental toxicology, new approaches in environmental protection, and current strategies for safeguarding human and animal health are also addressed.
