Objectives of the Course

The aim of the course is to get qualified technicians who are able to reproduce animals without problems, prevent reproductive production losses and produce healthy offsprings

Course Content

Anatomy of the reproductive organs; reproductive physiology and endocrinology; puberty and sexual cycles; clinical use of hormones; examination of the female reproductive organs. Estrus, the estrous cycle and optimal insemination timing; hormonal mechanisms of the estrous cycle; semen collection and evaluation; semen dilution and preservation; preparation of frozen semen for artificial insemination; artificial insemination techniques; and insemination of cows, sheep, and mares.
