The aim of this course is to teach the use of the laboratory for diagnosis and testing, and to enable students to learn the tests to be performed in the laboratory.
This course focuses on providing fundamental knowledge and skills for laboratory work. It covers the basic concepts of the laboratory, calculations performed in the laboratory, and the use of basic laboratory instruments. In addition, laboratory automation and information systems, as well as basic and advanced analysis methods used in laboratories, are discussed. The course also addresses the collection, handling, and proper storage of biological samples, examines potential sources of error in analyses, and provides information on laboratory safety and cleanliness.
