Objectives of the Course

To provide skills in parasitological terminology; the nomenclature of parasites and parasitic diseases; routes of transmission of parasites; prevention of parasitic diseases; types of parasites in animals; their development, epidemiology, and pathogenicity; as well as diagnosis and treatment.

Course Content

Definition of parasitology, parazitismus types, host-parasite relationships, the development of parasites, parasitic diseases, symptoms, diagnosis, prognosis, prevention, zoonotic parasites.

1.To be able to learn the Basic parasitological terms, learn the naming of parasites and parasitic diseases.

4.To be able to Learn the economic losses resulting from parasitic diseases.
5.To be able to Know the methods of treatment and prevention of infections.
