The aim of this course is to provide the ability to learn, correctly apply, and accurately interpret the topics specified, particularly in biostatistics.
Students learn the definition, importance, objectives, and applications of biostatistics, as well as basic statistical concepts. The course covers frequency distributions, measures of central tendency and dispersion, sampling methods, data presentation using tables and graphs, theoretical distributions, parametric and nonparametric tests, correlation and regression analysis, and time series analysis. This content is designed to develop students’ ability to analyze and interpret data accurately and to apply statistical methods effectively in health sciences.
