Objectives of the Course

The aim of this course is to enable students to understand the concept of health tourism, the state of health tourism in the world and Turkey, the types of health tourism, and the management processes.

Course Content

This course begins by addressing the concept of health tourism and its historical development, and provides a detailed analysis of the types and characteristics of health tourism. The course, which examines the health tourism market and current trends within it, focuses on the management processes of health tourism businesses. International regulations, quality management, marketing strategies, and ethical issues are among the important topics of the course. Additionally, topics such as the role of technology in health tourism and the opportunities and challenges of health tourism in Turkey are also covered. The course concludes with case studies and general assessments.
