The aim of this course is to explain the relationship between archeology and tourism, and to provide knowledge on the preservation and sustainable use of archeological heritage.
Archaeotourism is an interdisciplinary field of study that focuses on the evaluation of archeological heritage sites within the scope of tourism activities. In this course, students will examine the relationship between archeology and tourism, the preservation and sustainable use of cultural heritage, the management of archeological sites in terms of visitor experience, and the tourism potential of archeological destinations.
