Objectives of the Course

The aim of this course is to enable students to gain awareness of disability, develop social sensitivity, embrace a sense of social responsibility, and acquire the knowledge, skills, and attitudes that will support the equal, independent, and effective participation of individuals with disabilities in social life.

Course Content

The course covers the concept of disability, types of disabilities, the rights of individuals with disabilities, accessibility, inclusive education, social awareness, social responsibility projects, volunteer work, the activities of non-governmental organizations, and practices that support the participation of individuals with disabilities in social life.
