Objectives of the Course

Traditional Turkish Arts in our country and understand the role and importance in the world, classification of crafts based on raw materials, subjects entering the crafts scope, in chronological development of handicrafts and term comprehension recognition features.

Course Content

Anatolia traditional Turkish handcrafts and global role and importance in Turkey, definition, classification according to raw materials, handicrafts topics covered, it can define the terms used in crafts, to distinguish main to the traditional Turkish handcrafts by recognizing understanding of period features in the process of chronological order.

Learning Outcomes
1.In Turkey, the traditional Turkish handicrafts and learn about the importance and place in the world.
2.The definition of traditional crafts will learn the characteristics of craft products.
3.Make the classification according to the scope of subjects and materials of traditional Turkish handicrafts. Know the main technical terms and definitions related to the topic.
4.Learn according to the chronological development of the main characteristics of traditional crafts period. Learn the techniques and patterns according to historical periods. El define the terms contained in art.
5.Learn to identify the period of learning the technical and design characteristics of traditional handicraft works.
6.Make definitions of the raw materials and specifications used in traditional crafts
