Objectives of the Course

With this course, students will be introduced to the techniques of decoration in traditional structures and will gain technical competences related to function, material and style.

Course Content

The aim of this course is to teach the interior and exterior ornaments of the traditional structures and the style and motifs that are applied in different periods. It will be transferred.

1.Learns the art of decoration, its history, its properties and the usage areas of architecture art.
2.13th century Selcuklu, 16-17.18.yy learn the characteristics and techniques of the art of Ottoman decoration art.
3.Learns the decoration techniques applied in architectural structures.
4.Learns the applications of wood decoration techniques, engraved trowel technique.
5.earns the preparation of appropriate joint mortar in historical buildings.
