Objectives of the Course

The aim of the course is to provide help in the Seljuk and Ottoman Iznik and Kutahya tiles art of the intricacies of teaching future moves by both tourist to our country in a need to create their own job opportunities and cultural promotion to highlight the added value that floor to decorate places the tile decoration.

Course Content

Turkish traditional historical development of tile art is one of the techniques used, embellishments, patterns, and to teach the use of architectural styles. Pattern brush to remove the cap applied on tiles and tile, made biscuit and glaze firing.

Week 1 - Theoretical
The definition and scope of the course
Week 2 - Theoretical
Khatai motifs and Leaf motifs drawing
Week 3 - Theoretical
Pencu motifs and flowers embellishments, tulips and carnations motifs
Week 4 - Theoretical & Practice
Rumi and çintemani, Cloud and animal motifs
Week 5 - Practice
30x30cm, 40x40cm tile pattern research and sketches for plates
Week 6 - Practice
Design of drilling done entirely made and passed to the persona of the designated pattern parchment paper and put the needle with the pattern of the whole line
