Objectives of the Course

To inform about surface design, to provide more original and creative designs with these methods.

Course Content

Making new designs by using shallow design methods. It involves applying the design as an artistic ceramic panel, drying the partition into pieces, glazing the cooking, joining and mounting the panel outdoors.

Panel Application Techniques in Architectural Buildings. Scraping, engraving, chipping Decorated Ceramic Panels and examples
Week 4 - Theoretical
Panel Application Techniques in Architectural Buildings. Slip and Angop Decorated Ceramic Panels and examples
Week 5 - Theoretical

Evaluating the design process and deciding which techniques will be used to make the ceramic panel.

Application from mud of a small sample of the design

Starting large-sized mud application of the approved model: Mudding and bringing the design to the surface

Continuing large sized mud application of the approved model: Creating relief by adding parts

Continuing large sized mud application of the approved model: Relief creation by scraping and carving technique

Priming the shaped panel surface with colored primers

Dividing the shaped board into parts and drying and baking
