Objectives of the Course

The aim of this course is to recognize the ornamental plants , to comprehend the latest technological developments, reproduction, cultivation, to solve the problems faced in production, storage, marketing and quality issues .

Course Content

Definition of ornamental plants, economic importance. Carnations, gerberas, roses, chrysanthemums, daffodils production, postharvest operations. Principles of indoor plants use, reproduction, breeding. The protection of natural flower bulbs, reproduction, growth, transfer to future generations.
