Programme Outcomes
1. Uses basic, current, and applied knowledge in the field of Landscape and Ornamental Plant Cultivation in professional processes.
2.Evaluates field-related problems with an analytical and critical approach and develops solutions by using information technologies.
3.Acts in accordance with occupational health and safety, environmental awareness, quality processes, and ethical principles in professional practices.
4.Takes responsibility both individually and as a team member in field practices and expresses ideas effectively through written and oral communication.
5.Has awareness of career management and lifelong learning and uses a foreign language to follow developments in the field.
6.Carries out the production, maintenance, pruning-training, shaping, and harvesting processes of landscape and ornamental plants in accordance with technical principles.
7.Identifies physiological disorders, diseases, pests, and weed problems in landscape and ornamental plants and applies appropriate control methods.
8.Recognizes, selects, and uses structural and plant materials used in landscape practices in accordance with sustainability principles.
9.Performs drawing, computer-aided drawing, analysis, measurement, measured survey and setting-out, quantity take-off and cost estimation, presentation, and AI-supported application processes in landscape projects in accordance with professional standards.
10.Determines appropriate plant species and landscape application techniques by evaluating climate, soil, plant nutrition, and irrigation conditions.
